Now that participants have learned how to mediate, we will look at the ethics of mediation. After being introduced to a framework for thinking about ethical issues, participants will work with the Appendix to Rule 114 to work through ethical dilemmas which focus on conflicts of interest, confidentiality and admissibility of evidence, neutrality, and support of party self determination among others.
